About Una West

Una West founder of One Truth Holistic Services and Workshops upon healing her own self of health issues, decided to offer her experiential journey and passion for living a healthy lifestyle to others.

She has been a certified holistic practitioner offering services in Dundas, Ontario since July l995 and as a Workshop Facilitator started teaching in March 2000. Una also took several courses in Palliative Care with The Hamilton-Wentworth Victorian Order of Nurses and worked as a volunteer for eight years with the Circle of Friends Hospice centre.

Her challanges to heal herself and family have been inspired by the following inspirational figures: Caroline Myss. Dr. Bernie Seagal, Dr Wayne W. Dwyer, Alan Cohen, Abraham-Hicks, Louise Hay, Debbie Shapiro, Norman Vincent Peale, Dr. Leo Roy, Emmet Fox, Don Miguel and Harville Hendrix PHd.

Una is also a director of the Compassion and Peace Association of Canada, a federally incorporated not for profit organization which runs an online community website, CompassionAndPeace.org, to help and inspire young people.  The Association has recently published a book collecting creative writing submitted to the community site called Alone Together - Out of the shadows.  Una was the editor for this book, a project that took two years to complete.
