Treat yourself to this wonderfully warm, nurturing, gentle, very relaxing/calming therapy and with the Spirit of the Earth from the stones, and the Universal Life Force Energy of Reiki, this is truly a "heavenly experience". Using hot basalt stones and coated with essentials oils, the smooth rocks glide across your skin, melting away knots and stress in the body and inducing deep relaxation. The stones come in a riverbed of shapes and sizes. Baby ones are wedges between your toes; big, round stones rest in the palms of your hands; delicate, flat stones are pressed along the jaw line and cheeks; and four other larger stones are laid on your chakras with a smaller stone laying on the "third eye" just above the bridge of the nose "it calms brain chatter". While you're melting away into another universe, soft sounds of music are playing in the background. You are indeed - in heaven - for about one hour and twenty minutes of beautiful bliss!

"Hi Everyone Just returned from a most warm, nurturing experience. Hot Stone Massage Therapy. Una West is the therapist; for l.5 hours, your arms legs, neck, shoulders, feet, hands are gently lulled into complete relaxation through Una's wonderful massage technique. This is not just a hands on massage, Una uses basalt stones warmed in fragrant oil (she used lavender and chamomile this day) cupped in both of her hands, she gently kneads and rolls each muscle with the smooth oiled stones. Different size stones are used accordingly to the area she is working on. Warm stones are left on your chakra points, in between your toes, under large muscles, shoulders. Just, when you think it could not get much better, she asks you to flip over on to your stomach. Working the back, shoulders and neck the session continues, finishing with a warm wet cloth rubdown to remove excess oil. During the whole process, I felt completely accepted, nurtured and loved.
