Hot Stone Massage Workshop

Learn this amazing new unique healing modality called Hot Stone Relaxation Therapy, using hot black basalt stones combining with Universal Energy. Your clients,friends, and family will absolutely love this beautiful technique that will send them to "heaven and back".... Black basalt stones glide over the body with the help of essential oils; the warmth from the stones relaxes and soothes all the muscles and gently melts away the knots and stresses from the client's body. The heat has a sedative effect on the nervous system. The stone weight, warmth and rhythmic flow leaves the client feeling nurtured, and with a deep calming sensation similar to meditation. For some people, stone therapy can bring deep tissue release and alignment in body, mind and spirit. For others, it means gently allowing the heat of the stones to soften tension and melt worries away.

This is a ten/twelve-hour course that you can design to fit your needs and learning style. It can be taught in one day, and the remaining two hours in an evening or morning etc., OR perhaps two five hours sessions over separate days. Contact us for more information.

This hot stone workshop has qualified for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) under the Quality Assurance Programme with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, Canada

A massage that puts the healing beneifts of hot stone to work. This ancient American Indian technique is believed to cleanse the body, calm the heart, ground the soul and soothe the mind.

Note: This course is special and unique as it is adaptable to suit the experienced RMT's, Estheticians but also easy to learn for the novice practitioners who want to start their own healing business or add something new to an already existing one.

Course Fee: $675 CAD which includes:

10 or 12 hour hands-on instructional workshop
a complete set of 58 black basalt stones - Chakra, spinal, 3rd eye, toe, large, & medium
a comprehensive printed reference manual
a certificate of achievement
a start-up kit worth $30 cad (Contents in list below)
all applicable taxes included

The course includes a complete $40 start-up kit so you can be up and running immediately:

Flex foam for lining heating oven
one large strainer
one small strainer
one relaxing eye sack
two bottles filled with holly oil and essential oils (for approxmiately 12 hotstone relaxation therapy treatments
one bottle filled with environmentally friendly Nature Clean cleaning lotion for washing stones
one bag of sea salt
one bag of baking soda
one bottle of tea tree oil
one packet of eye pads
one sponge

Note: additional stone sets can be purchased from Una which are hand picked in Canada from native sacred land.

The advantage of my workshops is that I can tailor them to fit your needs and learning style.

My workshops are taught on a continual basis as requested. This gives you the flexibility to choose the days, evenings or week-ends to fit your schedule.

This is a ten (1 person) or twelve (2 people) hour course which is very individualized with a maximum of two people to each workshop session.
